Wheel Alignment Service in Cumming, IA

Mechanic is doing truck wheel alignment at Absolute Repair

It’s not uncommon for a heavy-duty diesel machine that is driven thousands of miles a week to have its steering components and suspension shift out of alignment. What many may not know, is that improperly aligned truck wheels can result in an increased 2% cost of fuel and a 20% reduction in tire life. Improper wheel alignment results in an increase in rolling resistance of the tires, essentially, the tires are dragging down the road as opposed to rolling down the road.

Professional truck alignment ensures that your tires meet the road at the proper angle. Also known as wheel alignment, this increases the durability and efficiency of your tires. For optimal performance, proper truck alignment prevents your vehicle from pulling in different directions, creating a safer and more comfortable journey while maintaining fuel efficiency and decreasing uneven wear on the truck’s tires. When wheels are aligned correctly, they will be flat against the road and properly pointed. This is especially important for heavy-duty trucks that have higher work demands, heavy loads or drive long distances at high speeds.

At Absolute Repair, we specialize in truck wheel alignment for larger vehicles. The bigger the better actually! You can trust our certified mechanics to perform quick and reliable truck wheel alignment services. This will result in even wear of your truck tires, increased drivability, less wear of front-end suspension, safer vehicle operation, reduced operational costs, and better fuel economy.

Our certified mechanics know what it takes to keep your bus rolling in the right direction. In a standard truck wheel alignment, you can expect us to adjust the suspension, which is the system that connects your vehicle to its wheels, while also ensuring that the angles of the tires are optimized for safe contact with the road.

What Our Customers are saying About Us

★★★★★

While on vacation recently we unfortunately encountered a broken axle on our travel trailer. Being from out of town and the fact that it was a Sunday evening we had no idea who to call for repair. The tow truck driver recommended Absolute Repair and we were towed to that facility. The tow truck driver notified the owner of Absolute Repair that we were in their parking lot. On Monday morning we were greeted by Andrew who evaluated the situation. Peter (the owner) and Andrew were very easy to work with and kept us informed of their efforts to secure a new axle. Once they had the axle they worked quickly and diligently to put the new axle on the trailer and we were back on the road late Monday afternoon. Peter himself worked with another tech to complete the repair. Peter and Andrew are both very knowledgeable, explaining in detail the repair, as well as being concerned for our comfort and offering us the use of their lounge. The repair price was very reasonable. Andrew even placed a follow up call to us the next day to make sure everything was fine with the trailer. We cannot speak highly enough of this company and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Our sincere thanks to Peter and Andrew for assisting us and getting us back on the road so quickly.
