Preventive Maintenance Service in Cumming, IA

Mechanic performing pm (Preventative Maintenance) service at Absolute Repair

As an operator or fleet manager, you rely on your diesel machine to perform. But making sure your truck is at its optimal performance can be a lot of work, and part of this responsibility is ensuring that your vehicle is properly and proactively maintained. At Absolute Repair, our certified mechanics will work with you to develop a custom preventative maintenance schedule. It’s one of our specialties and we have built our reputation on an honest and family-orientated work ethic. We rely on details from your specific truck’s manufacturer’s recommendations, the specific usage of your vehicle, and the current mileage and condition in order to determine the best plan of action. From there, our technicians will outline a regular service schedule to ensure you stay ahead of any preventable problems for your truck or fleet.

A basic preventative maintenance program covers services such as oil and fluid changes, glow plug inspection, hose repair and tire inspection. But a robust preventative maintenance program covers much more. At Absolute Repair, we create a preventative maintenance schedule that includes regular inspections which are designed to prolong the lifespan of your truck. This maintenance schedule proactively identifies and corrects potential problems before they become larger and more costly.

Vehicle maintenance plays an important role in your business and preventive maintenance can not only protect your investments but have a real impact on your bottom line. Unexpected breakdowns or repairs can drive costs and result in lost productivity, not to mention reduce a truck’s overall lifespan. A well-thought-out preventative maintenance plan goes beyond your operational daily truck inspections and takes a big-picture approach to your vehicle's health and performance.  At Absolute Repair, you can rely on your preventative maintenance schedule to increase your truck’s lifespan, decrease unexpected downtime, increase safety, increase fuel economy, decrease overall repair costs and help improve your company’s reputation by having dependable vehicles.

The team at Absolute Repair is committed to working with owners, operators and fleet managers to take on heavy-duty diesel truck preventative maintenance.

What Our Customers are saying About Us

★★★★★

While on vacation recently we unfortunately encountered a broken axle on our travel trailer. Being from out of town and the fact that it was a Sunday evening we had no idea who to call for repair. The tow truck driver recommended Absolute Repair and we were towed to that facility. The tow truck driver notified the owner of Absolute Repair that we were in their parking lot. On Monday morning we were greeted by Andrew who evaluated the situation. Peter (the owner) and Andrew were very easy to work with and kept us informed of their efforts to secure a new axle. Once they had the axle they worked quickly and diligently to put the new axle on the trailer and we were back on the road late Monday afternoon. Peter himself worked with another tech to complete the repair. Peter and Andrew are both very knowledgeable, explaining in detail the repair, as well as being concerned for our comfort and offering us the use of their lounge. The repair price was very reasonable. Andrew even placed a follow up call to us the next day to make sure everything was fine with the trailer. We cannot speak highly enough of this company and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation. Our sincere thanks to Peter and Andrew for assisting us and getting us back on the road so quickly.
